The book is designed by Rieme Gleijm and was developed as part of a mood enhancing rental art project for ‘Het Nieuwe Huren’.

The project ‘Mood Swing’ was developed by Babette Wagenvoort for ‘Het Nieuwe Huren’ (The New Renting) in 2009. Het Nieuwe Huren, initiated by Esther Didden, was a special collection of art projects that were for rent. With Het Nieuwe Huren people didn’t rent a specific artwork. Instead they rented an artist and his/her way of working or communicating.
Like the other projects that are part of Het Nieuwe Huren, ‘Mood Swing’ challenged anyone who rented the project to experience their daily environment in a new way.
